Ballet/Tap Combination Class 1 – Age 3-4 years – This one hour class consists of one half hour of Ballet and one half hour of Tap and teaches students the basics of Ballet and Tap.
Ballet/Tap Combination Class 2 – Age 4-7 years – This one hour class consists of one half hour of Ballet and one half hour of Tap and teaches students the basics of Ballet and Tap.
Hip Hop/Tap Combination Class 3 – Age 5 to 8 – This one hour class consists of one half hour Jazz and one half hour of Tap that teaches the basics and more of Tap and Jazz.
Jazz – This class is offered as either a 45 minute or a 1 hour class and consists of stretching, across the floor technique, center floor work and combinations to music.
Hip-Hop – In this 45 minute class students learn the street style of jazz and also basic jazz technique needed for hip-hop.
Tap –In this 30 minute class students are taught the technique and skills of Tap dancing which is a series of regulated and controlled rhythmical movements of the body.
Ballet –This class is offered as either a 45 minute or a 1 hour class. Ballet teaches discipline of the body and emotions and helps to improve posture, poise, control, balance, and promotes self-discipline.
Pointe – Teacher will let the student know when they are ready for Pointe – Pointe is typically a 30 minute class and is a higher form of ballet. Dancers must be enrolled in a Ballet class to take Pointe.
Lyrical – In this 45 minute ballet oriented class dancers learn to tell a story with their movements and expressions.
Private Class – Private instruction offers 30 minutes of individual dance instruction for your child with a dance instructor
Semi-private Class – This class offers 30 minutes of instruction for a small group consisting of 2 to 4 dancers.
Competition – There are auditions for dancers who would like to become part of the Dance Creations Company Team. Competition is dance instruction for anyone who wants to become more serious in their dance training and compete. Please ask if you are interested and would like more information.
Petite and Mini Competition – Ages 8 and under. This is a way to introduce competition to the younger dancer w/o the “Company” Commitment.
